One week to go!
CROCS!
Believe it or not, the time is upon us and Swim Team practice begins one week from today! Here are a few things to think about as we begin the season.
Always come to practice prepared to swim! We practice rain, shine, hot or cold! If it begins to thunder, then we will not be in the water, but the coaches will still hold a dry land practice so even if the sky look iffy, come to practice unless you hear otherwise! Sometimes the first days are still chilly, but if the water is warm enough, we swim!
This is a crazy busy time of year, so please don't stress about the afternoon practices. Try to make as many as you can. It is so important for the swimmers to begin working on all the endurance they may have lost since last summer!
If you ordered a swim suit back in April, it has arrived and I will have them with me this week at practice. If you need to order a suit, the Swim Shop is open at the Mountain View Aquatic Center every Tuesday and Wednesday from 4-7pm. They can get your swimmer measured and place your order.
Every family is asked to volunteer for 4 meets during the season. The sign ups are open on the website. Just log into your account, click on Schedule at the top, and you should be able to see all of our meets. Click on each meet and the job sign ups should be there. If you have any questions, Kendra Lockhart and Adriana Frewin are our wonderful Volunteer Coordinators and can answer them for you!
There will be a Parent Meeting on Sunday, May 20 at 3pm at the Pool Pavilion. Coach Maggie and Coach Matt will be there to talk about the season, we will go over how meets run for new parents, and how to volunteer.

Thanks,
Leah
