CROCS!!

As Maggie has been entering events for tomorrow's meet, she discovered a flaw in the SwimTopia system. She cannot enter Heats and Lanes for the events. So when you pull up your swimmer on the app, you will only see the event number and what the event is. We were hoping that the app would do it all, but it looks like that's not the case.

So, I have signed up for Remind. It's a group texting app that allows you to join my "class" and I can send things out quickly. You can opt to receive it as a text message or you can download the Remind app. There are two ways to join:

1. Go to this link remind.com/join/chestnutcr and follow the instructions

2. If you already have the app, you can simply click Join Class and put in chestnutcr and it should add you automatically. 

What I plan to do is send out a picture of my master copy of the meet entries via Remind tomorrow morning, so please sign up as soon as you can. 

In t-shirt news, I was finally informed today that there is a delay and we will not have our shirts until sometime next week. If you have a Chestnut Creek swim team shirt from a past season, please wear that to the meet tomorrow. For all new swimmers, I will have my box of shirts with me tomorrow morning at practice and you can see me for a shirt. I will give out as many as I can, but I cannot guarantee sizes. Hopefully we will all have new shirts for next week's meet. 

And lastly, the weather tomorrow is forecasting rain. We WILL swim the meet, even in the rain, so please plan to be at our pool for warm ups at 5pm. If it thunders, we will delay and start the meet later. The goal is to get the meet in if we can (we only have to get in half of the events for the meet to count). We will not cancel unless we absolutely have no choice.
