June 13 Meet
CROCS!
Tomorrow is our meet with Governors Towne Club. This meet is AWAY, and all swimmers need to be there at 5:30 for warm ups. The pool address is 4200 Governors Towne Club Dr., Acworth, GA 30101. It's about a 45 minute drive, so please give yourself plenty of time to get there. Governors Towne Club is a gated community, so check in at the gate and let them know that you are there for the swim meet. There is another gate after you pull through the main gate, but you have to just pull up close and it will open on its own. There is plenty of parking at the pool, although carpooling may be a good idea!
There will be hamburgers, hotdogs, and pizza at their concessions, as well as snack, candy and drinks.
This pool has six lanes, so the meet should go quicker than usual. We will also need a few extra timers, as we will be responsible for timing lanes 1, 3, and 5. If you have not already done so, please sign up to volunteer.
Also, I have our t-shirts!! I will have the box with me in the morning, and I will also have it with me at the meet, so let me know if you haven't already gotten your shirt.
