    June 27 Meet

    June 26th

    CROCS,

    Believe it or not, this Wednesday is our final meet of the season. We will be AWAY at Jefferson Township, 4151 Jefferson Township, 30066. There is a small lot by the pool, but overflow parking is available (weather permitting) in a field behind the Cobb Commuinty Church on Sandy Plains Rd. They will have someone directing traffic if necessary. Warm ups begin at 5:30. There will be the standard fare at the concession stand- pizza, hot dogs, fruit, chips, candy, cookies and snowballs. 

    Since this is the last meet, Jefferson Township will be having a parent relay in the middle of the meet and have asked if we would like to participate. Do we have any brave parents who would like to swim? These are really fun and the kids get the biggest kick out of seeing their parents in the water. We need at least 4 parents, but if we can get 8, we can field two lanes. Please let me know if you’d like to swim!

    Please remember that the goal is to get the meet in, so we’ll be watching the weather closely. It looks like we’ve got all of our volunteer positions filled, so thank you!!
