I know that you have been awaiting an update on the 2020 season, and we just received the following email from the league:

"As you all know, the Cobb Summer Swim League Executive Board was waiting for GRPA to make a decision on whether they will be hosting the GRPA State Swim Meet. GRPA had their meeting today and they decided that there will NOT be a state meet. After receiving the news of GRPA’s decision, the CSSL Executive Board met to discuss GRPA’s decision and how that was going to impact the 2020 season. Due to many factors affecting the League, with the primary focus on safety and social distancing requirements to be compliant with government requirements, the executive board made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 season. Please know that this was the most difficult decision we have had to make and we did not take the decision lightly.

We all hope that everyone stays safe and we look forward to seeing everyone on a pool deck again."

I know that we are disappointed, but I certainly understand their decision. 

For those of you that registered and paid, we are in the process of issuing refunds. We're hoping that it'll be a quick and easy process. Please give us a few days, but if you haven't received a refund by the end of next week, please send us an email and we'll look into it.

We'll miss being in the pool together, but let's look forward to next summer and a great season next year!
