CROCS!

Our next meet is tomorrow, June 6, at home versus Heritage Farms! Swimmers will need to be at the pool at 5pm ready for warm ups. The meet will begin at 6pm. This week's theme is STAR WARS! Come out with the Force and your best Star Wars gear! I will be handing out events at tomorrow's practice. 

A note about the weather: Last week was challenging with the storm right at the beginning of the meet. I want to let you all know that we will always wait out the weather. Please, do not leave unless you have heard directly from me that the meet has been canceled. This happened last week and the team lost points as a result. The referee and the coordinators from both teams will make the decision whether or not to cancel a meet. Rescheduling is extraordinarily difficult, and even if we only get half the meet in, it will count. I understand not wanting to stay during a storm, but they usually pass quickly, and we will swim in the rain as long as there is no thunder or lightning. 

Jeannine Brock has sent out the sign up genius for volunteers, and we are still in need of several spots. Please sign up if you have not already done so.

Team pictures will be during practice on Wednesday of this week. I am still awaiting confirmation from Clix on the times, and as soon as I know, I will pass that along. Most likely, the team picture will be taken at 9:30.

Cross every finger that the weather clears up for us tomorrow night!
