Hello Crocs! This is the first edition of the Chestnut Creek Swim Team weekly coach's newsletter. Each week Coach Maggie and I will send out a newsflash and email highlighting the previous week and updating parents on information about upcoming meets and special events. We both love getting the opportunity to share our swimmer's accomplishments at meets throughout the season! Updates available each week after meets will include leader cap winners and a few highlight swims. To catch you up if you or your swimmer was not able to make the first day of practice, we went over these three team rules which we stress that every child knows and abides by while they are at practice or a meet:

1. Eyes and ears on the coaches

2. One hand on the wall at all times

3. No talking when the coach is talking

ALSO, a reminder of a few upcoming important dates:

-May 23 at 6 p.m.: Parent's Meeting with the Coaches

-May 25: NO PRACTICE (Last Day of School) *please note that Thursday and Friday transition to morning practice times for the summer 

-June 1: First Swim Meet!!

Coach Maggie and I look forward to seeing all of the parents at 6 p.m. on Monday after the 9 and Up practice. We are excited for a successful season with your swimmers!
