Parents and Swimmers,
Summer is here! Join me in congratulating our coaches, Pearce and Amanda on their graduation from Pope High School.
We will begin our summer practice schedule tomorrow (Friday, May 27th). Times are as follows: NO PRACTICE ON MONDAY, May 30th (Memorial Day).
Age 6 & under - 8:30-9:00
Ages 7-8 - 9:00-9:30
Ages 9-12 - 9:30-10:15
Ages 13 & up - 10:15-11:00
Our first meet is one week away. We will be holding time trails during Tuesday's practice. Please let Pearce or Amanda know if your child will not be available for practice on Tuesday or will not be available to swim at our meet on Thursday, June 2nd.
If you haven't signed up to volunteer please see one of us at practice to get a spot. All parents are required to volunteer for at least 2 meets.
Swimsuits and spirit wear t-shirt orders are in. We will pass them out at Friday's practice. The only items we recieved are the t-shirts, other items will be deliverd next Wednesday, June 1st.
Mark your calendar for the upcoming important dates: Wednesday, June 1st. Spirit night at Menchies. Thursday, June 2nd. First meet Home vs. Bishop Green. Friday, June 3rd team photos 10:00 a.m.
Lastly, in addition to concession at swim meets, we will begin selling items from our "snack bar" at the pool each day.This is a fundraiser for our team. Here's a copy of our menu for snack bar:
